The Notebook Empty The Notebook

Post by glr1989 Tue Feb 10, 2009 6:22 am

The notebook has got to be my most favorite movie of all time. The love story between Allie and Noah is just so time less. I always end up tearing up.

I know a huge number of people adofre this movie. Not me, however - I found it to be too sentimental and corny at times.

The movie I think is a somethat better version of "The Notebook" is "Atonement".

But the leads are GORGEOUS!

I adore Nicholas Sparks and his books and the movies based off of them nearly always reduce me to tears--this is the only exception.

Don't get me wrong I love the story, but it just seems to be missing something that his other stories have. Give me Message in a Bottle over this one any day. Smile

(PS--I need to see Atonement!)
