oh god gaby, you're giving me a heart attack. I hatwe living here, these people minds are so ... I don't even know how to describe it. close-mided, like, oh we live in portugal and here we are and we'll never leave this country because it's crazy thinking about living in another country, even if we don't have a job and nothing to do here. The people... ugh. The country itself isn't that bad, we have pretty hot weather and good landscapes... but still... I'm so sick of it Sad

I've always wanted to live in NYC, don't ask me why because I don't know what to answer. since I was like.. 4 or 5 that I told my mother that I'd live there. And I will. For me, it's such a fascinating city. And it makes me really sad when I say to anyone that I want to leave this stupid little country and they just...laugh in my face. it really makes me sad knowing that people think I'm kidding. But I'm nott, and I will.

ahahah I read this and I'm thinking that you're probably thinking that I'm a crazy person. but that's ok, I kinda am, in a good way Razz

why do you hate living in California?

We're having huge problems with the state budget right now. The fat cats are sitting just twenty miles away and voting their own pay raises while the state is laying off 10,000 people in the middle of an economic crisis. And we can't do a damn thing about it because gerrymandering has brought us here. The people around me are so liberal, but we can't elect a liberal person because the rest of our district is way conservative. On top of this all, they're cutting programs like CalGrants, which a lot of kids depend on for college, and they're closing the DMV and raising tons of taxes, and that's COUNTING the nearly ten billion dollars we're slated from the federal government. To top it off, the teachers union is preparing to strike next year, and our district is shutting down all sports. And I live in a high-poverty area. A lot of kids depend on these sports to keep them out of trouble. And what's going to happen once the crime rate goes up? They'll keep going back to our overcrowded prisons, because they laid off all the parole officers.

It's okay. I rant too. Razz

I just got back from the oasis gig, it was awesome Laughing

it started at 8 p.m. (i don't have a clue who were the first band). they started playing around 9 p.m. and stopped at 11 p.m. . me and my friend were waiting for them for like, an hour outside the venue.. and not even a clue Sad

there were only 8 people there and they didn't come out ._. I'm a bit disappointed but i guess that's how oasis are right? Razz

I'll upload the pics tomorrow after-work Smile

now I'm gona have some sleep , my feet are kiling meeeeeeee

@ episode 1x03 of GG, @36 minutes, when chuck's in bed and nate in the sofa, the cellphone rings and chuck wakes up. then he throws a pillow to nate. nate wakes up, talks on the phone with his dad and hangs up. then he sees a paper on the table with some girls names and here's the dialogue :
"Hey... Who's Jessica?!"
"aww...*smiles* Jersey girls!"
